Bernadette (Nancy) Glenn of Middletown passed away peacefully on January 18 th 2023 at home.
She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nellie (Malinowska) Bartosiak. A life-long resident of Middletown she attended local schools and worked for the State of Connecticut retiring after 41 years of dedicated service. After retiring, Nancy spent 25 years preparing income tax returns for seniors through the AARP Tax Aide Program. She enjoyed traveling, golf, reading, participating in Senior Center activities, spending winters in Florida but most of all socializing with her many friends and family.
She is survived by her beloved son, Brian J. Glenn, brother Joseph Bartosiak and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband, Joseph (Buddy) Glenn, brothers Leonard and Alfons Bartosiak and sister, Sr. Mary Dulcine Bartosiak of the Felician Order.
Family is most grateful for the dedicated, compassionate treatment by her physician, Dr. Robert J. Levy and her caretakers. Nancy can be remembered with contributions to the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research, 415 Crossways Park Dr., Suite D, Woodbury, NY 11797.
There are no calling hours. A Mass will be held on Friday January 27 th 10 a.m. at Notre Dame Church, Durham, CT. Interment will be private at a later date. To share memories or express condolences online please visit www.biegafuneralhome.com.
