Barbara D. Santangelo, 80, of Port Orange, Florida, formerly of Middletown, Connecticut, beloved wife of Peter Santangelo passed away on Monday June 19, 2023 at Halifax Health Medical Center.

Barbara was born in, Middletown, daughter of the late, John and Stacia (Rebut) Dlugolenski.  Prior to her retirement Barbara was employed with the city of Middletown in the Municipal Development Office.

Besides her husband Peter, Barbara is survived by her daughters, Charissa Santangelo and Marcey Santangelo; son, Dennis Santangelo Sr. and his wife Stacey; grandson, Scott Santangelo and his wife Julia; sister, Rosemarie Pieta; daughter-in-law, Lori McPherson; grandchildren, Dennis Santangelo Jr., Lucas Fravel, Nicholas Fravel, Rachel Fravel, Christopher Santangelo, Jacob Morochnik and her adored great granddaughter, Dana Jane Santangelo. She was predeceased by her oldest son, Peter Santangelo Jr. who passed away 5 years ago.
