Barbara Joan Ruggiero-Born July 19, 1952, Died November 10, 2022.  Barbara was the daughter of William and Mildred Carlson of New Milford, Connecticut. She was the foster daughter of Lucille and Anthony Ruggiero. She was predeceased by both sets of parents, her brother Walter Carlson, her sister Patricia Ruggiero, her brother Vincent Walsh, and her brother Gino Chiaputti. She leaves behind her sister Susan and husband Tom Andruskiewicz of New Britain, her brother Larry Ruggiero of MN, her brother Daryl and wife Donna Ruggiero of Middletown, her sister-in-law Ella Rozonewski of New York, and many nieces and nephews.

Barbara graduated from Bulkley High School in Hartford. She was employed by Ravioli kitchen in Hartford for many years. She loved to listen to country music and enjoyed traveling.  Barbara loved animals and would even feed the neighborhood squirrels. She especially loved spending time with family and very much enjoyed celebrating the holidays. Funeral services will be privately held.
