Barbara (Dingwell) Jaskot, 74, of Rockfall, wife of Joseph A. Jaskot, Sr., passed away on Tuesday May 19, 2026 at Yale New Haven Hospital.

She was born in Meriden, daughter of the late Russell B. Dingwell and Ann (Majkowski) Burns. Barbara graduated from Orville H. Platt High School class of 1969. She went on to work for SNET as a customer representative and later was a teacher's assistant for Regional School District 13. She was a member of the Polish Falcon's Nest #519 and Pioneers of America. She was also a communicant of St. Mary of Czestochowa Church.

Barbara is survived by her husband, Joseph, daughter, Lisa Jaskot DeFrancesca, stepchildren, Joseph "Jay" Jaskot, Jr., and Jacqueline Jaskot Russell, brother, David Dingwell, sister, Marie Lawrence, grandchildren, Taylon Fay, Maggie Jaskot, Delaney Russell, Declan Russell, Dempsey Russell, and Sofia DeFrancesca. She was predeceased by her parents, stepfather, James Burns, and sister, Doris LaBombard.

Her Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday (May 27th) at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Middletown. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday (May 26th) from 5 to 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Middlesex Hospital Hospice, c/o Dept. of Philanthropy, 28 Crescent Street, Middletown, CT 06457 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
