On a warm spring day in early June, Ashley Nichole Weisenburger passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 35, reuniting with her mother in heaven.

Ashley was born and raised by her father and mother, John and Joanne Weisenburger, in Rockfall, Connecticut, along with her two big sisters, Jessica and Kelly. Like her striking red hair, Ashley’s personality was bold, spirited, and impossible to overlook.

Ashley was predeceased by her adoring Mother, Joanne Weisenburger. She is survived by her loving father, John Weisenburger of Rockfall; her sisters, Jessica and her husband, Kyle Bonk of Newington and their two children, Britney and Brendan. Kelly and her husband, Shane Melton of Middletown and their son, Kaiden. Her Nana, Kathryn Landry of Rockfall. Additionally, Ashley leaves behind many aunts, Uncles, Cousins and chosen family who will forever hold a special place for her in their hearts.

Ashley took great pride in working alongside her sister, Kelly, at Scrubin Sisters Cleaning, where their partnership reflected the close bond they shared both in business and in life.

Those who knew Ashley, knew there was never a dull moment. She especially enjoyed being a Mama to her fur baby, Binx, and a TiTi to her many nieces and nephews who she often referred to as “Auntie’s babies.” She would spend as much time with them as she could. Because Ashley was so young at heart (and child-sized), she held a special bond with every child who had the pleasure of knowing her, though she often teased that she had a reserved can of whoop ass and wasn’t afraid to use it.

If laughter truly adds years to your life, then everyone who knew Ashley owes her a debt of gratitude. In the words of her father, “My darling, Ashley, the best gifts really do come in small packages.”

Visitation will be held at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown, on Saturday, June 27, 2026 from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. with services beginning at 2:30 p.m. A combined burial for Ashley and Joanne to follow on Monday, June 29th at 11 am at Middlefield Cemetery.
