Arthur E. Carey, 87, of Middletown, husband of the late Margaret "Marge" (Fitzpatrick) Carey, passed away on Friday September 1, 2023. He was born in Middletown, son of the late Everett and Josephine (Kazimir) Carey. Arthur retired after many years from Pratt & Whitney. He was a member of the Moose Club and the Polish Falcons.

He is survived by his daughters, Donna Barrow and Eileen Nelson, both of Middletown; son, James Carey of Moodus; five grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his brother, Albert and sister, Lorraine Stender.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday Sept. 16th at 1 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown.  Family and friends may gather prior to the service on Saturday from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.  Those who wish may send memorial contributions to the American Heart Association.
