Apostolos "Paul" Arnaoutis, 92, formerly of New Haven, died Saturday December 30, 2023 at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Cromwell.

He was born in Piraeus, Greece, the son of the late George and Kalomira (Skavatho) Arnaoutis.  Paul served with the Greek Navy and later the Merchant Marines.  Prior to his retirement, he was a diesel mechanic with Amtrack Railroad.

He is survived by his son, George Arnaoutis and his wife Kelly of North Haven; daughter, Maria Mase and her husband Anthony of Hamden; grandchildren, Aubrie and Krystina Velleca, and Haley, Nicole, and Andrew Arnaoutis.

Funeral services are private and burial was at Calvary Cemetery, Middletown. There are no calling hours.
