Antonio "Tony" Caracoglia, 83, of Middletown, husband of the late Judy A. (Beeman) Caracoglia, passed away peacefully on October 13, 2024 surrounded by his family,

He was born in Naples, Italy, son of the late Francesco and Giuseppa (Didato) Caracoglia.  Tony served with the Italian Navy. After moving to the states, he started his career as a plumber with the City of Middletown Housing Authority, Wesleyan University and then retired after working at Long Lane School.

He is survived by his daughter, Olivia DiMauro and her husband Sal of Middletown and their children, Dante and Ava; sister, Rita Caracoglia; brother, Sergio Caracoglia; also, several nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his daughter, Alexandra Caracoglia; sister, Albina Caracoglia; and brother, Salvatore Caracoglia.

His Funeral Liturgy will be held on Saturday (Oct. 19th) at 10 a.m. at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 10 Elm St., Middletown.  Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Middletown.
