Antoine L. "Tony" Gauvin, Jr., 76, of Middletown, died peacefully at his home on September 15, 2023.  Tony was born in Guilford, son of the late Antoine L. Gauvin, Sr. and Alvina (Anderson) Gauvin.

Tony was a racecar enthusiast and a completive drag car driver, winning many races up and down the East Coast in his 1961 Chevy "Red Bullet" Impala.  Prior to his retirement Tony was employed as a truck driver with Stop N' Shop retiring in 2007, and continued to haul proudly for his special local folks.  Tony was also proud to have Saturday Morning Breakfast with his neighbor, going to over 120 different breakfast places in CT. We'll all remember "Tony's 409"!

Tony was thankful for all his neighbors and many friends with deep gratitude to Suzanne Madore.

Tony is survived by a son, Keith Gauvin, and his wife Pam of Alabama, grandchildren, Garrett Gene, Bridgett Susann, and Brett Lewis, and many friends, and neighbors.
