Anthony "Tony" Trotta, 78, of Middletown, passed away on Friday July 28, 2023 at Autumn Lake Health Care.

He was born in Middletown, son of Vincent P. "Jim" and Antonia "Lena" (Accaputo) Trotta.  Tony was a barber and owned A-1 Hair Styles in Middletown for several decades. He enjoyed singing and playing guitar, and in better times would often spend weekend nights singing karaoke with his friends. He was also an animal lover whose many pets were like family to him. Tony was also a car lover and took pride in keeping the Corvettes he owned over the years in pristine condition.

He is survived by his son Alan Trotta and daughter-in-law Diane Trotta of Middletown, as well as siblings Joyce (Wayne) Burgess, Julia (Robert) Salafia and Lawrence (Marge) Trotta.

The Funeral Service will be held on Friday August 4th at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown.  Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery. Calling hours will be on Thursday August 3rd from 5 to 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home.
