Ann Margaret Gawel-Dombrowik, 60, of Middletown, beloved wife of Daniel Dombrowik, passed away on Tuesday, May 14th, 2024, at her home. She was born and raised in Meriden, daughter of the late Walter and Emily (Baigert) Gawel.

An avid reader and gardener, Ann Margaret's unwavering love for her family, community, and the environment, was felt by everyone she met. She cultivated friends as she grew gardens – abundantly.

Ann Margaret is survived by her husband of 29 years, Daniel; daughter, Victoria; nephew, Jesse (Juliana) Brunson; two sisters, Dorothy (Richard) Marino and Chris Gawel- Brunson; three brothers, Walter (Marilyn), Michael (Diane), and Thomas (Elaine) Gawel; as well as a wonderful extended family and her pets.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday May 22nd at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown, and there will be a visitation from 10- 11 a.m. at the funeral home prior.
