Amy (Granata) Shaw, 60, of Middletown, wife of Steven Shaw, died Sunday January 1, 2023, at Middlesex Hospital.

She was born in Middletown, daughter of the late James "Jim" and Evelyn (Cooke) Granata of Portland.  Amy was currently an accountant and co-owner of Middletown Plate Glass.

Besides her husband Steven, Amy is survived by her daughters, Victoria Mainetti of Wethersfield, Jennifer Shaw of Cromwell; brothers, Richard "Rick" Granata of Colchester, and James "Jimmy" Granata of New London; sisters, Janice Mierzejewski of Middletown, and Marie Moore of Townsend, MT; also, several nieces and nephews.

Amy enjoyed traveling, spending time at the beach and by the water, and making memories with her family and friends.

Her Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday (January 11 ^th ) at 10 a.m. at Third Congregational Church, 94 Miner St. Middletown.  Calling hours will be held on Tuesday (January 10 ^th) from 5 to 7 p.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown.
