Obituary

Amanda R. Kendrick, 42, of East Haven, passed away unexpectedly Friday, October 28, 2022.  Amanda was born in Birmingham Alabama, daughter of Robert and Annette (Byrd) Kendrick of Birmingham, AL.

Amanda was a graduate of the University of Mount Olive in North Carolina. She spent her career as a real estate paralegal, and was also a licensed massage therapist. She was a free-spirit, independent woman, mother, daughter, sister and friend, whose love will be greatly missed.  Amanda loved to travel the world, hike with her dog Reese, and spend time with her family and friends. She recently went skydiving with her son.

Besides her parents, Amanda is survived by her son, Collin Patrick Gartland of Danbury, two sisters, Allyson Kendrick Machnik of East Hampton, Amber Kendrick Carone and her husband James of Haddam, a brother, Patrick Kendrick and his wife Erin of Tampa, FL, grandparents Richard and Rose Turner of Birmingham, AL, niece Faith Machnik, nephew Christopher Machnik, and many other family and friends.
