Alice (Horan) Olver, 98, of Middletown, formerly of Higganum, wife of the late Russell W. Olver, Sr., passed away on Saturday June 7, 2025.

She was born in Guilford, daughter of the late Dennis and Alice (Herbst) Horan and moved to Higganum in 1953. Alice was a 7th and 8th grade English Teacher at the Haddam Junior High School during the 70's and 80's. Alice enjoyed history, reading, time in Florida and her boat rides on the CT river.

Alice is survived by her son Daniel Olver of Higganum and sister Helen Kalinowski of Guilford. She was predeceased by her husband Russell, son Russell W. Olver, Jr., and brothers Edward and Daniel Horan.
