Jonathan passed away on October 26 at Middlesex Hospital surrounded by his loving family following a 6-year battle with lymphoma.

Born on September 18, 1981 in Hartford, CT Jonathan was a lifelong resident of Middletown and graduated from Middletown High School. He was an avid Yankees and Giants football fan, enjoyed fishing and golf and loved his precious dog, Lilly.

He is survived by his parents John Meehl Jr, Johanne (Kyc) Meehl of Middletown, his sister Jennifer of London, England, his longtime girlfriend Mindy, grandmother Delores, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jonathan's family would like to thank Dr Levy, his staff and the staff at Middlesex Hospital who tirelessly supported him and indulged his sense of humor along the way.

His Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday (Oct. 31 ^st ) at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Church, Middletown.  Burial will be at the convenience of his family in Calvary Cemetery, Middletown.  Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown, on Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m.
