Frank E. Ramsey, 57, of Middletown passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 3 ^rd , 2018, surrounded by his loving family. Born June 2nd, in Middletown, CT. He was the son of the late Joseph and Angelina (Perrucio) Ramsey. He is survived by his sons, Michael Ramsey of Middletown, CT, and Matthew Ramsey and his wife Jackie, of Wethersfield, CT. Frank was proud of his sons for their accomplishments in life and of the men that they had become. He remained friends with his former wife, Judy Ramsey throughout the years. Frank was also survived by his sister Ann Cubeta and her husband, Joseph of Cromwell, CT, and by three brothers, Joseph Ramsey and his late wife Linda, of Middletown, CT, Donald Ramsey and his wife Dora, of Higganum, CT, and Martin Ramsey and his wife Angela of Haddam, CT. He also leaves several nieces and nephews, and was predeceased by his infant niece, Jill Ramsey. Frank loved his mischievous cat, "Scrapper" very much. He will be missed terribly by his "Buddy" Brenda Ellison, a friend of the family for many years, who treasured his friendship, and by his "Angel" Carly Dicicco. Carly came into Frank's life through the Wise Program Community Services. She went above and beyond her job description, providing support to Frank and his family. They became special friends. Thank you, Carly, for being so kind and caring. You brought joy into Frank's life. The family would also like to thank the staff at the Wise program, Gilead Community Services, and at Middlesex Hospital for the excellent care that they provided Frank. Frank was loving and always cared about and showed his concern for others. He touched the lives of all who knew him. There are no calling hours. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The Biega Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
