Barbara (Stobierski) Santello, 67, of Cromwell, CT wife of the late Thomas K. Santello Sr., passed to enternal life on Thursday at Hartford Hospital after a very brief illness.

Barbara was born in New Haven the daughter of the late Stanley Stobierski and Mary (Wojtyna) Stobierski - Czaja. Prior to her retirement she was employed at Aetna for over 20 years. She was a communicant of Saint Mary of Czestochowa Church, where she also served on the parish council. Barbara was a member of the Wethersfield / Rocky Hill Elks #2308 and the Polish Falcons Nest #419

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Michelle Malloy and her husband Gerald of Middletown, two sons, Thomas K. Santello Jr., Stephen Santello and his wife Nancy of Cromwell, three sisters, Lucille Pryzgocki of Madison, Susan Proto, Irene Dinice, two brothers, Robert Czaja, Louis Czaja all of Wallingford. She is also survived by six loving grandchildren, Kevin, Collin, Kaitlyn and Colton Malloy, Benjamin, Ryan Santello, and several nieces and nephews.

Barbara was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend. While she left us too soon, she filled her years caring for everyone around her and bringing joy to every occasion. She will be deeply missed by all.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10:15 a.m. from the Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown followed by an 11 a.m. Funeral Liturgy in St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Middletown, CT. Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery, North Haven.
