Edward Zadroske, 75 of East Haddam, husband of Lois (Rhodes) Zadroske, died Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Middlesex Hospital.
He was born in New Britain, son of the late Alexander and Mary (Stefancyk) Zadroske. Ed worked as a tool and dye maker for 35 years and then owned his own home improvement business. His greatest projects were kept for his home where he built a beautiful gazebo, several water features, beautiful themed gardens and a gorgeous grotto. He was an avid sportsman who loved the outdoors and an ultimate craftsman.
In addition to his wife, Ed is survived by two daughters, Brenda Christie and her husband Douglas of Watertown, Angela Zadroske and her long time companion Eric White of Norwich; a step-daughter, Nancy Jarrett of Collinsville; two step-sons, Ray Baker Jr. and his wife Lisa of Manchester, Robert Baker of Lebanon, OH, a sister Rosemary Garlick of Kensington and five grandchildren. He was predeceased by his first wife, Annette Marie (Napert) Zadroske and a brother, Anthony Zadroske.
The Funeral Liturgy will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at St. Bridget of Kildare Church, 75 Moodus Leesville Rd., Moodus. Burial will be in St. Bridget Cemetery.
