Patsy “Pat’ Augeri, 87, of Higganum, beloved husband of Rozena (Wilson) Augeri, died Friday at Gaylord Hospital, Wallingford.

Pat was born in Middletown the son of the late Antonio and Anna (Vernale) Augeri. Pat was a veteran of World War II, Korea, and Vietnam Wars, serving for over 20 years with the U.S. Navy. After retiring from the Navy, Pat worked for Pratt and Whitney Aircraft in the building maintenance department.

Besides his wife Pat is survived by a son, Pat Augeri of Higganum, Michelle Augeri of Niantic, Debra Augeri of Middletown, five grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by five siblings, Joseph Augeri, Josephine Galanto, Tracy Boynton, Mary Ross and Joan Hofher.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Saint Francis of Assisi Church, Elm Street, Middletown. Burial with military honors will be held at the State Veteran’s Cemetery.
