Lillian (Seifert) Sima, 90, of Killingworth Rd., Higganum, wife of the late Charles G. Sima, died Friday April 6, 2012 at Middlesex Health Care Center.

     She was born in Guilford, the daughter of the late George and Nellie (Thody) Seifert. She was employed at Merriam Manufacturing for many years prior to leaving to raise her family. Lillian enjoyed spending weekends in VT, fishing, snowmobiling and gardening.

     She is survived by her children, Nancy Prue and husband Thomas of Higganum and George Sima of Higganum; two grandchildren, Suzanne Cunningham and her husband, Michael and Thomas Prue and his fiancée Carrie Bense; a brother, George Seifert and his wife Marion of Orwell, VT; two sisters, Bertha Sievert of Meriden and Evelyn Rossi and her husband John of Durham; also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Catherine Seifert, Mae Seifert, and Anne Mahoney.

     Funeral services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St. Middletown. Burial will be in Burr District Cemetery, Higganum.
