     Regina M. Kosiba, 84, of Middletown, beloved wife of the late Bernard J. Kosiba, passed peacefully on Monday, April 2, 2012.

     Born in Cromwell, CT, daughter of the late Mary (Kuzaro) and Joseph Moskey of Portland. She is survived by her beloved children, son Lawrence and the (late) Sheryl, of Shrewsbury MA, four daughters; Elaine and Richard Zieller of Wethersfield, Carolyn and Ricardo Quitero of Exeter, RI, Maryanne and Pamela Kosiba of Middletown. She is survived by her six beloved granddaughters; Courtney, Tyler, Brittney, Lauren, Alysse & Alexis. She is also survived by her siblings, Elizabeth Tollefson, Frank, Edward & Theodore Moskey and predeceased by a sister, Genevieve Zywociniski.

     Regina had a passion for sewing, gardening and cooking her Polish delicacies. Her favorite pleasures were creating Polish traditions for her family during the holidays. She was both protective and supportive of her children as her children were of her and celebrated many achievements throughout her life. She was an independent and proud woman and found great joy in her children and grandchildren. She opened her home and her heart to her family.

     Funeral services will be Thursday, 9:15 a.m., from Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown, followed by a 10 a.m. Funeral Liturgy in St. Mary of Czestochowa Church, Middletown. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call at the Biega Funeral Home Wednesday from 6-8 p.m. Memorial donations can be made in Regina’s memory to St. Mary’s Church 79 Hubbard St., Middletown, CT 06457or the Office of Radio & Television (The Celebration of the Eucharist), 15 Peach Orchard Rd., Prospect, CT 06712-1052
